A restaurant can’t not have this stuff.
But nobody goes to eat there because of it.
How do you usually decide what restaurant to go to?
Usually, cuisine.
You’re in the mood for burgers. Or Indian. Or dessert. Or Dim Sum.
Cuisine is what makes one restaurant different than the others. That’s why it’s the reason to go—or not go— to that place.
Design systems need buttons and cards and form elements; you can’t not have them.
But those aren’t the things that will make people want to use the design system. It’s whatever’s different about the design system.
